In a late-night drunken ramble on Twitter of all places, some of the Metal as Fuck crew came up with a wicked idea. In a debate as to which metalheads hold their piss better (it was Australia Vs UK at this point), MADman suggested we should try for the ultimate goal: one million beers consumed in the name of metal.
Thinking we might struggle to do it on our own, we started this blog. And we want your help!
How to get involved
- Consume beers in the name of metal (parties, gigs, festivals, gatherings, at home… we don’t care, so long as it’s metal)
- Photograph your contribution
- Submit your photos, either here on the site or to the One Million Beers Flickr group
That’s all there is to it!
It might take us years to reach our goal of 1,000,000 beers… but by shit we’re gonna give it a go. Ready? Drink!
